50mm focus.

Yesterday we had some much needed sunshine. It feels like it's been so long since a warm sunny day that I was confused by seeing early morning shadows on my kitchen wall, throwing a cross-hatched pattern of light through the lattice on our window, I had forgotten what they looked like. After school I picked up my camera and went on a little stroll to try and capture some colour. Although the colours of Spring are here, when warmth and sun are lacking, colours look so much more drab. I needed colour and I needed light - to remember that there is colour all around me but sometimes I need to stop and actively look for it.
I chose to just use my 50mm lens, which is far more limiting in its fixed focal length compared to my main lens, but I wanted the challenge of a fixed perspective to make me look at things a bit differently.
