En route to San Francisco we
stopped briefly in Monterey
for lunch. It was a delightful little place full of beautiful flowers,
remenants of its rich history in sardine fishing, and a lovely little
shop called Stewart & Jasper Orchards that sold an incredible range of almonds coated in every single flavour
imaginable.
We came away with some lime coated and cinnamon coated almonds, and
a pot of artichoke and garlic dip to accompany our picnic lunch. We found the
perfect sun trap by the sea to sit and eat our lunch while we enjoyed the view.
Next stop, San Francisco!
